Spring is coming. ♥
You can feel how the weather changes people's mood.
They are way more friendly and affable.
I'm sure nothing is healthier than a blue cloudless sky!

Ah~ anyway today i decided to be a little rebel.
I skipped chemistry and informatics with my super sweet classmate Anna.
This girl is one of the most amazing persons I know. I don't want to say we are soulmates but we are very like each other.
She can laugh about the same things I do - as long and as loud as I do! - and we mostly share the same opinions. I really love her.
She is smart, enjoys reading and is full of irony. Sitting next to each other drives the teachers crazy and they urge us at least once a day. It feels a little bit like being back in 10th grade.
But Anna is way more insurgent than I am.
I would never be brave enough to skip subjects without her. I still almost died because I was so afraid of getting cought.
Sometimes I hate to be raised in roman-catholic way. I still feel kind of bad and have the feeling I will get punished one day. Probably I will go to confession just to feel better.
We had so much fun and with two free hours school almost is passable.
The brightest part of our school day was the water ice we ate. It was so yummy ♥

I love this song - Abraham's Daughter by Arcade Fire:

You need to listen to it and read the lyrics. I feel like crying while listening to it.

Hunger Games

I'm not going to spoil this movie for you!
Move your lazy ass and watch this freaking awesome movie!
I waited months to watch the Hunger Games and it was so fantastic.
Of course the book is way better and at first I was really scared but it turned out to be a great movie. They were able to get most of the feelings from the book into this movie.
Do yourself a favour: buy the book, read it and go watch this movie.
It's touching. It's so much more, it has such a deep meaning and teachs us a lot.
The Hunger Games are an incredible life lesson, showing the cruelty of human beings, dictatorship and that there is always hope.
Never give up and may the odds be ever in your favour.
Unfortunaly there are a lot of great movies coming up, I will tell you a lot to go to the cinema.
But I promise you will never regret watching the Hunger Games and your life will never be the same...

Because my life is pretty boring I decided to show you my horrible hair.
Due to my year as an au-pair in the USA and my current jobs I have three atm I have to be a little bit more grown-up no pink, green, blue hair anymore so most of my hair is brown. I'm not a big fan of brown hair and it's hard for me to like myself with natural hair color. I never had the same hair color as long as I have now brown hair: almost two years!!!
I dyed some of my hair in January/Feburary just to feel better and the color started to look really messed up.
Isn't it horrible?
It looks like the hair of a homeless person or a punk.
I like this kind of hair on punks but unfortunatly I don't count myself as one.
I need all this stuff to dye my hair. What do you need?
I used to color my hair without gloves but it's so hard to get the color from your skin afterwards!
I need to separate my brown hair. I don't even want to think about the look if I accidently would dye the brown hair as well.
It's hard work actually. I'm sure I missed some hair but I coudn't change it.
Do you see the brown hair? And now tell my how to get it out!
I dyed my hair green. At the moment I'm using all my old hair colors.
I had so many and coudn't use them all before dying my hair brown in May 2010 so I try to use all the left-overs now.
Blue and most of turquoise is already gone. Voilá. My hair. Apple green. It doesn't look perfectly dyed. I'm not sure if it's my lack of dying-skills or simply that the color is over three years old...
I mean it doesn't look bad yet once upon a time I've been great at dying my hair....

I really seem to get old.

Journey 2

Belive it or not I've been to the cinema again.
The cinema is probably my favourite place on earth.
I went with a lovely friend of mine - his name is Mirz.
I wanted to watch This is War but unfortunaly the movie runs only on Saturday.
So we had to decide between Journey 2 - The mysterious Island and Türkisch für Anfänger.
I've seen the second movie already and I wanted to see Journey 2 anyway so we went to see Journey 2.
We hadn't seen the first Journey movie but that's fine. You don't need to know the first one to understand the second.
The movie was fun. I enjoyed it a lot.
If you are a fan of children adventure-action movies you need to see it.
The island had an incredible atmosphere - everywhere green and novel animals.
The story is mainly based on the book The mysteriouse Island from Jules Verne.
Actually I only wanted to see the movie because of Josh Hutcherson can't wait so see the Hunger Games!!! and he is awesome!
He is a great actor and kind of cute.

Ah my movie revies are horrible. I tell you all the time: Go and watch this movie, but I can't give you good reasons. Sorry!

I asked for your last cigarette.
Not because I really want to smoke.
I just want to know if I still can get everything I want from you.
And I can.
So, last week I watched all Türkisch für Anfänger seasons. It was so funny and I really love Cem.
I even wish I could get a Turkish boyfriend.
Most of the time I don't like the mentality of German boys. Society want's them soft, romantic and always gentle. I hate it!
I want a guy who knows that he is the man in the relationship.
I'm not a big fan of emancipation - it is so fake!
Women want equal rights but they still want that the guy pays, that the guy takes out the trash and that the guy is carrying the shopping bags. So please, shut up. If you want equal rights kill the spider all by yourself!
Now I started watching Glee again.
I watched Glee every Thuesday on FOX in the USA.
I miss the states a lot and I like Glee. Mostly because of my time in the USA but also because it's such a feel-good-show.
Outsider can be great too. Outsider can get the hot guy too. It's ok to be an outsider.
Haha. No one belives this shit but it's stilll cute to watch.

Türkisch für Anfänger

Ah~ again a cinema review.
I watched Türkisch für Anfänger with one of my classmates.
She is super cute and I envy her beauty.
And again I simply have to say: GO AND WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!

Türkisch für Anfänger [Turkish for beginner] is a German movie and it's a super cute, funny love story between a Turkish German boy and German German girl - also a Turkish German girl and a Greek German boy.
Germany has lots of Turkish immigrants and the movie makes fun about the clichés, the education situation in Germany and daily love problems. Usually funny movies have a few fun situations but are mostly boring. Not this one! I laughed all the time.
The storyline is so sweet and you can't stop falling in love with the charakter.
It's no problem if you don't know the TV series because the story starts all over again - just different. Lena, Cem, Yagmur and Costa don't know each other and get lost on a desolated island. They try to survive and love is in the air ;-)

oh and I'm so in love with Cem

John Carter

Due to my work in the cinema I watched John Carter yesterday.
It's an 3D si-fi movie from Disney.
Everybody simply needs to watch it. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie so much. It's fun, full of action and even has a little bit of love [in my eyes maybe a little too much but it was ok]
The story is about John Carter, a former Civil War soldier. He escaped his soldier duties and tries to find a gold mine. With a few problems he finds a cave with gold and in there he somehow gets transported to the planet Mars - it's called "Barsoom" by the natives.
Johan Carter is meeting some Tharks. They want to kill him first but seeing his jumping skills [gravity differnce between earth and barsoom, you know?] the decide to arrest him.
Tharks are awesome Martians! They are tall, green, have four arms and a completly different culture.
Tharks are of course not the only inhabitants of Barsoom but they are the most interessting ones. The ofter two cultures look like humans and having kind of a civil war. I don't want to spoil too much of the story just one of the other natives is a good-looking woman with stunning blue eyes.
Most of the time I'm not a big fan of 3D. But this time I enjoyed it a lot. The pictures were clear and I didn't have a blurred picture once.
The world/mars/barsoom was aweesome. They made it look so different to earth, it just seemd really to be a new world. I love the idea of differnt worlds - like middle earth. But they need to do it genuine - and they did!
The story was full of action, fun, love and surprise till the end - I almost got a heart attack in the last 5 minutes. There are moments you want to cry, you have to laugh or you want to hide somewhere because it's getting so intense.
Please everybody, go and watch this movie!

Anyway I think I will buy the books to this movie.

Today I've been to Frankfurt am Main to visit the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University.
This University is my favourite one. My biggest dream is to study there.
I went there with my Dad ♥ I love him a lot, even when our relationship isn't the best.
Anyway the campus is simply beautiful.
I got lots of information and I was able to visit a lecture in German studies. I can't remember the last time I wanted something so badly like I want to study in Frankfurt now.
But I still need to take an entrance test for English and American studies.

It's hard to decide. I'm not sure if I want to study English or American studies as second subject. I've been to the USA, American studies would look better in my CV.
But I'm more interested in English literature, aren't I?
Ahhhhhh. I simply have no idea what to do.
Sadly I coudn't visit my friends from Frankfurt. :-/
I just didn't have the time. We live so far apart and it hurts to be so close but unable to meet each other.
It sucks.
Hopefully I can study in Frankfurt. I will force them to meet me all the time!
Haha, they will get super annoyed ;-)

Do you prefer English or American literature??

I'm horrible in keeping my blog up to date.
So let's give it another try.
I will also try to keep this blog in English.
Hopefully I won't embarrass myself to much. 'cause I still want to study English studies x'D
Finally I'm quite happy with my layout. It gave me a headache but now I'm satisfied.
This is an awesome picture, isn't it?
Books are a wonderful thing. They kind of keep me alive.
I hope the owner doesn't mind me using it :-/
